Autumn

The chill has come to usher in change
A subtle difference in degrees
Fathoms deeper in thought than feel

We walk the paths of the year
And here we come as always
Once more time to store what we know

I gather all my thoughts and pretenses
I store the lessons of the year
And prepare for meditations in cold

I am settling myself and recounting
I am taking stock of my storehouse
I am preparing inward and outward

I am the equinox
I am the harvest
I am fall

Autumn

Ike Grysanovich

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Artificium, in the year 627 AD.
