Poets of the Basin, I am throwing down the gauntlet. Let's have a
epigram contest!

The rules are simple: Send a letter with your name and a couplet on any
theme and I'll send you a couplet on the opposite theme back. You reply
to mine and I reply to yours until someone gives up or gives in. First
not to send back a reply after a year loses. Winner publishes the
combined set in a library of their choice under their name with a credit
to the loser noting them as such.
